Assorted Chicken Hatching Eggs

Hen's choice of eggs ready for your incubator!

Our flock focus: hardy and cool looking, with bonus points for colored eggs. The photos show one of this year's test hatches, and the range of possible egg colors available, as well as some of the chicks that hatched from them.

All eggs are collected fresh, and inspected to be crack free with intact air cells prior to shipping. We pack carefully to get them to you as quickly and safely as possible. We use USPS priority (2-3 days with tracking). 

While my in house hatch rate is >90% please note that the effects of shipping hatching eggs include being subjected to temperature swings, and shaking. This can have a big impact on the egg's viability, therefore there is NO GUARANTEE and you are accepting that risk. We try to send extras when possible to help offset this risk. Please let eggs rest "point down" for 24h before incubating as this can help re-stablize the air cells.

• This time of year, our flock is mixed and free ranging, so these will be "barnyard mix" chicks. (Will separate into individual breeds in late winter and post as available)
• Parents Includes a diverse mix of heritage and rarer breeds
• Bantam eggs are sometimes available, and can be included in your mix, or left out, please specify in checkout notes. You may also request more of certain egg colors (as available), but please be aware that with paternity worthy of daytime talkshows, the chicks may not take after mom!
• Our Roos: Bielefelder, Partridge ameraucana, Speckled Sussex, Salmon Faverolle, Blue Marans, "Zombie" (White Leghorn x Ayam Cemani), and Bantam Gamefowl
• Our hens: Chocolate Orpingtons, Mottled Houdans, Specked Sussex, "Easter Eggers," Black Copper Marans, Gold Deathlayer, Cuckoo Marans, Zombies, and bantams are satin silkies and some dutch booted varieties.
• Soon to be laying: Penedesenca, silver penciled rock, dark Brahma, Silver laced Barnevelder, Salmon faverolle, and a bantam project that produces black and white splotched chickens with some silkie qualities (crests, extra toes, feathered legs, muff/beards). There's a handful of hybrids (Gen 1) from my own flock as well-mostly olive/Easter eggers of Marans x ameraucana crosses. I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but it'll be a surprise either way! "Chicken math" is reallll!
